He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Sturdivant of Elkins; his children, Dennis Welch (Sheri) of Sneads Ferry, NC, Brenda Travise (Tony) of Coalton, WV, Margie Thomas (Sam) of Woodbridge, VA and Sheila Bradley (Rob) of Blueridge, VA; his siblings, Joseph Welch of Monterey, VA, Shirley Harvey of Sumpter, SC and Retha Chenoweth of Elkins; and his grandchildren, Keith Welch, Amber Welch, Sabrina Turley, Silas Travise, Jamie Bertelli, David Thomas, Daniel Thomas and Aaron Bradley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens (Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241).
