He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Carr and Stella White Carr; his wife Lois Kyle Carr; his siblings, Irene, Sylvia, Opal, Georgetta, Virginia, Arthur, Leonard, Raymond, Todd and Curtis; his daughter Linda L. Channels; and his sons-in-law, Walter Ray Channels and Wayne Bennett Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail L. Griffith of Maidens, VA and Vickie L. Carr of Elkins; and his grandsons, Mark A. Griffith, Scott W. Griffith, Brian K. Griffith and Solomon Ray Channels. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
