She was predeceased by: her parents, James Triplett and Monna Nelson Triplett; and her siblings, William, Wayne, Sydney, John, Loretta Byrd, Drexie Conoly, Dottie Cromer and Tammy Weese.
She is survived by: her husband Alan L. Simmons; her children, Douglas Simmons (Crissy) of Elkins, WV and Stephanie Long (Chris) of Buckhannon, WV.; her granddaughter Madolyn Long; her brother David Triplett (Elka) of Eleanor, WV; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Triplett and Mick Weese of Elkins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens (Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your local animal shelter in memory of "JJ's" love for animals.
