It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Lee Strawder (Elkins, West Virginia), born in Glady, West Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil L. Strawder and Mabel Smith Strawder; his wife Gloria Ellen Jack; his siblings, Cecil Strawder, Jr., Janice Sturdivant and Jean Strawder; and his grandson Kevin R. Shreve.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Strawder (Susan) of Harding, WV, James Allen (Joyce) of Texas and Rose Ann Shreve (Mark Arbogast) of Harding; his siblings, Jack Strawder of Kentucky and Nancy Fenstermacher of Belington; his grandchildren, Jessa Strawder, Joshua Strawder and Kristen Strawder (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Carr, Adalynn Strawder, Kohen Strawder and Kreed Strawder.
