He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Currence and Sarah Ross Hornbeck Currence; his wife Katherine E. "Kathy" Bender; his siblings, Kenny Hornbeck and Wanda Hawes; and his nephew Michael Ray Wiseman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Currence, Jr. (Annabelle) and Brenda Whetherholt (Robert) of Glenford, OH; his nieces and nephews, Michael Hawes, Steven Whetherholt, Scott Whetherholt, Brian Currence, Karen Hughes, Kim Boyd, Heather Moss and Donna Hornbeck; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon Hawes, Haley Hawes, Misty Hughes, Ethan Boyd, Hannah Boyd, Addie Boyd, Dominik Currence, Dylan McCoy, Levi, Abby Currence, Kaelyn Moss and Kannon Moss.
