With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Henry Woods of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Beverly, West Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Woods and Hazel Mae Howell Woods; his siblings, William C. "Bill" Woods, James A. Woods, Arthur D. "Bud" Woods, Dorothy E. Layne, Linda Carol Woods Humphreys, Sylvia Ann Judy and Nancy C. Ramsey; his half-brother Woody Woodrow Woods; and his great grandchild Kaden Lambert.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnnie Allen Woods (Faye) of Belington, Robert Lynn Woods (Teresa) of Palmyra, IN and Jeremy Allen Woods (Michelle Corder) of Elkins; his sister Mona Mae Turner (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Scottie Woods, Mindy Lott, Nathaniel Woods, Jessica Kisner, Daniel, Michael and Eric Harris; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Cailey, Christopher, Austin, Carly, Haley, Ruby and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tygart Valley Ministries Church (496 Main St, Beverly, WV 26253). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
