She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael E. Pnakovich and Nell Rhoads Brooks Pnakovich; and her sisters, Eva Brooks Sterling and Louise Brooks See. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Prather (Eddie Godwin) of Cobb Island, MD, Michael Valdez (Maya Hoffman) of Elkins and Joe Valdez (Donna) of Lafayette, LA.; her grandchildren, Jason Alley, Chloe Valdez, Brandon Valdez, Caroline Valdez, Chelsea Valdez and Caitlin Valdez; her great grandchildren, Layla, Elena and Stella; her siblings, Don Brooks of Fort Worth, TX, Doris Faulring of Niagara Falls, NY and Paula Staud (Tom) of Elkins; and her sister-in-law Jane Addis (Paul) of Reno, NV.
