With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phoebe C. Johnkoski of Elkins, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phoebe left this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Phoebe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phoebe farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Hickman and Clara Butcher Hickman; her husband Vincent H. "Ig" Johnkoski; her son Vincent A. Johnkoski; and her sister Peggy Hickman Harvey.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa "Terri" Phipps (Mark) of Elkins; her grandchildren, Samantha Phipps, John Phipps and Emily Stratton (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Alduncin Phipps and Kimberly Stratton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Phoebe.
