She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Simmons and Maye Ryder Simmons; her spouse Berlin Stanley Galford; her daughter Vicki Lynn DeFreese; her grandson Shawn Michael Price; and her siblings, Robert "Buddy" Simmons, Patricia Donaldson, Alma Willett and Lois Munden.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Price (Michael) of Elkins; her son-in-law Duane DeFreese; her granddaughters, Kristi Ward (Andrew) of Scott Depot and Erin Price of Alexandria, VA; her great grandchildren, Bryce, Alyssa Ward of Scott Depot and Ava Price of Whitmer; and her sister Betty Bowlby of Philippi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home - Elkins (120 1st St, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
