She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Love Smith Roy and Lindsey Parker Roy; her son Charles "Chuck" Varney; and her siblings, Parker Lindsey Roy, Denver Lole Roy, Roger Phillip Roy, Randal Roy, Ronald Blake Roy and Ruth Elaine Roy Jordan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stefanie Varney and Melanie Pritt (Cecil); her daughter-in-law Cathy Varney; her grandchildren, Misty Spicer, Ricky Martin (Molly), Tara Standridge, Amber Varney, Dustin Standridge Amanda Standridge (Emily), Caitlyn Varney (Joe) and Alex Pritt; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Lydia, Annie, Kylie, Kiera, Grace, Graesin, Arlen, Rhett, Lily and Tori. She is also survived by her family, especially her kids and grandkids.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Mountain Hospice.
