She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hayes and Kathleen Isner Hayes; her husband Frederick Lawrence "Fred" Irwin; her siblings, Jimmy "Gabby" Hayes, George Hayes, Betty Crickard and Martha Sue Lloyd; and her aunt Margaret Flanagan.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Irwin of Valley Bend, Tim Irwin of Latta, SC, Tammy Anderson (Jack) of Elkins, Brenda Carr (Terry) of Elkins, Kathy Weese (Leo) of Elkins, Beth Long (Joe) of Tigheview and Cyndee Dilly (Shawn) of Elkins; her grandson Joshua McDowell of Great Falls, MT; her great grandchildren, Jacqie McDowell of Turkey, Carter McDowell of Great Falls, MT, Ariella Brown of Elkins, Brayden, Amara, Daniella, Samuel Casas of Lubbock, TX, Jillian, Liam, Amelia Shaffer of Germany, Gannon Wingfield of Valley Bend, Landon Carr of Elkins, Asher, Abigail, Josiah Hopkins of Morgantown and Matthew Beane of Ripley; her sisters, Mildred "Middy" Bower (Harold) of Old Fort, NC and Rebecca "Becky" Hayes (Manouchehr Naderpour) of Waynesville, VA; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Irwin (Rosemary) of True and James Irwin of Gap Mills.
