He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Lynn Wilson Godwin; his brother Lorren Godwin; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Godwin and Stasia Godwin. He is survived by: his father Rev. Lowell Clark Godwin; his sons, Kelly Godwin (Amanda Haddix) of Elkins, Justin Godwin (Brooke) of Elkins, Marc Godwin of Elkins and Chris Godwin (Kennya) of Elkins; his siblings, Lee Godwin of Philadelphia, Lynn Godwin (Penny) of Ripley, Lawrence Godwin (Julie) of Starbuck, MN. and L'Louise Fox (Mark) of Hurricane; and his grandchildren, Madison Godwin, Kaylee Godwin, Grayson Godwin and Eleanor Godwin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Living Waters Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
