She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Shobe and N. Ruth Weaver Shobe; her brother James Monroe Shobe; her nephews, Brian Michael Shobe and Cody Simmons; her great-nephew Robert Paul Likens, Jr.; her nieces, Faye Lea Likens and Janet Sue White; and her pet Trixie.

She is survived by: her daughter Emily Cecel Shobe of Elkins; and her siblings, Charles Allen Shobe (Patricia) of Portsmouth, VA, Arley Dale Shobe of Elkins, Catherine Rebecca Sturdivent of Harrisonburg, VA, Barbara Loraine McClung of Elkins, Margaret Kay Taylor (Wade) of Elkins and Carolyn Sue Green of Parsons.
