With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Shelton Barger of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Richwood, West Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dyer "Doc" Barger and Mary K. Handschumacher Barger-Ayers; and his brother Donald Edward "Don" Barger. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ann Bennett; his sons, Larry "Shelton" Barger, Jr. (Kenna) of Beverly, Jeffrey Scott Barger of Elkins and John Dyer Barger (Kate) of Elkins; his granddaughter Amy Lynn Kuhn (Larry) of Daybrook, WV.; his sister Fran McClure (Jerry) of Fairmont; his sister-in-law Donna Barger of Morgantown, WV.; his grandchildren, Lukas Barger, Linkoln Barger, Ava Barger, Dyer Barger, Ceressa Kuhn Patterson (Dan) and Jameson Kuhn; and his great grandchildren, Caitlynn and Brock Patterson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 1100 South Davis Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Larry.
