Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guss William McGee and Gladys Alice Simmons McGee; and his siblings, Eva Brenwalt, Paul and Charles McGee.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley George; his children, Brian Waugh of Dailey, WV, Sharon Schoonover of Elkins and Beth Wallace of Elkins; and his sisters, Nellie Virginia Spicer of Louisville, KY, Ada Jean Simmons of Mason and Ann Lester of Fairmont, WV.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
