The memory of Eleanor Lorraine (Thrasher) Sell of Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Thrasher and Edna Thrasher (Foster); her husband Daniel Sell; her daughter Pamela Arrington; and her siblings, Mary Simon, Raymond Thrasher, Denver Thrasher and Arley Thrasher.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gouer, Michael Proudfoot and Laurel Dottellis (Richard); her grandchildren, William "Willie" Bartley, Justin Bartley, Race Proudfoot, Landon Proudfoot, Holland Proudfoot and Wayne Proudfoot; her brother William Donald "Donnie" Thrasher (Ann); and her sister-in-law Hope Thrasher. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Her late daughter, Pamela Arrington, who passed on May 18, 2021 following a battle with COVID, will be honored with a coinciding memorial.
Donations in lieu of flowers should be made to either Corley United Methodist Church (Belington, WV) or the Barbour County Humane Society.
