He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Judson Strahin and Ottie Turner Strahin; his daughter Daisy Mae Thrower; his brothers, Maynard and Kenneth Strahin; and his half-siblings, Robert, Joe, Delbert Turner, Angie McDaniel and Ruth Turner.
He is survived by: his stepson Rick Kaiser of Montrose; and his grandson David Thrower. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
