He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley R. Phillips and Tacie I. Phillips; his wife Angelia E. "Ann" Currence Phillips; and his sisters, Thelma Trotter and Kathleen Farley.
He is survived by: his children, C. Douglas Phillips (Deborah Shatzkes) and Donna Cain of Elkins; his grandchildren, Carmen McCauley, Emmett of Inwood, WV, Paul Sines, Carlee, Taylor Sines, Chelsea Channell of Beverly, WV, Travis Sines of Pittsburgh, PA, Caitlin Phillips of Charlottesville, VA and Kiel Phillips of Los Angeles, CA; and his great grandchildren, Abby McCauley, Mason Sines, Jayleigh Taylor, Jersey Sines and Kinsey Sines.
