It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Channels Schoonover of Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Nelson Channels and Eva Louise Wilmoth Channels; and her siblings, Cecil, Bob, Earl, Lawrence, Floyd, Ray Channels, Betty Evans and Bertha Lee Channels.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Schoonover (Jules Tarrant) of Martinsburg and Todd Schoonover of Elkins; her grandchildren, Trevor Schoonover (Shiloh), Oliver Schoonover-Martin, Jack Schoonover-Martin, Henry Schoonover-Martin and Vivian Evie Schoonover-Martin; her brother Ralph Channels (Ellen) of Elkins; her sisters-in-law, Patty Channels of Elkins, Betty Channels of Elkins, Comonia Channels of Parsons and Alice Channels of Baltimore, MD; and the father of her children Charles Ray Schoonover of Elkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
