It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine S. Kalar of Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee Gainer and Martha Lee Ward Gainer; her spouse Ilee N. Kalar; and her sister Sherry Cunningham. She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Minutelli of Fairmont, Jim Gainer (Marisa) of Elkins and Kenny Gainer (Dawn) of Wheeling. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
