With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Deloras Wright Walden of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Mannington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Wright and Marbel Glover Wright; and her husband Richard "Streamy" Walden. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Tyre (Ed) of Elkins; her grandsons, Richard Tyre of Orlando, FL and Matthew Tyre of Kissimmee, FL; her sister Barbara Benson of Buckhannon; and her nieces and nephews, Brad Benson (Debbie) of Winston Salem, NC, Doug Benson (Shelly) of Buckhannon, Bob Walden (Tonie) of Olmstead Township, OH, Paula Reedy of Staunton, VA, Vickie Spitzer (Keith) of Staunton, VA, Diane Brunner (Dare) of Avon Lake, OH. and Gayle Walden of Avon Lake, OH..
