He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Buck" Jones and Esther Jones; his grandson Dylan Floyd Jacob Jones; and his sister Irene Hartman. He is survived by: his wife Tillie; his children, Roy Jones, Jr. (Heather) of Hedgesville, WV, Melissa Davis (Mike) of Elk Garden, WV, Craig Jones (Jillian) of Mt. Storm, WV and David Jones (Tabitha) of Elk Garden, WV; his grandchildren, Marlene, Clayton, Brianna, Jessica, Allison, Riley, Austin, Logan and Wesley; his great grandchildren, Alaina, Caroline, Marianne and Clara; and his sister Barbara Kitzmiller of Mt. Storm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the WVU Medicine Hospice of Keyser, WV.
