He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Chapman and Alma Chapman (Cosner); and his siblings, Elwood, Lyle, Blondale, William Chapman, Delores Aronhalt, Charlotte Kitzmiller and Jean Wickwire.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Chapman (Veronica), Marty Chapman, Lora Bland and Terry Bennett (Danny); his sister Norma; his grandchildren, Sabrina Frazee (John), Trisha Kitzmiller (Allen), Jessica Ann Kitzmiller (Christopher), Shannon Kesner and Michael Bennett; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Kaizlee, Ethan James, Nathan, Shaylea and Kayln; and his friends, Judy and Perry Hebb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Temple (560 Sweetpea Ln, Mt Storm, WV 26739). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Temple Church (560 Sweetpea Ln, Mt Storm, WV 26739).
