He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Gowans of Oakland; his grandparents, Marshall G. Johnson, Kathleen Johnson (Alkire), Henry and Hazel Stonebraker (Simmons); and his uncle Robert Denton Stonebraker.
He is survived by: his mother Juanita Stonebraker (Johnson); his fiancée Katie Jones; his children, Dougie (Alicia), Kristyn (Jeremy), Seth, Haylee, Chloe and Carlee; and his sister Kellie Stonebraker Nelson (Deryl). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
