With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Ellsworth Baker of Elk Garden, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Baker and Anna Virginia Baker (Dawson); and his siblings, Bernadine Knotts, Erma Landis, Andrew and Junior Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Acord Baker (Clark); his daughters, Ashley LaDawn Baker of Keyser, WV and Dannagale Renee Acord (Pam) of Martinsburg, WV; his grandson Shawn Miller; his sisters, Wilma Baker of Elk Garden and Ella Mae Cook of Keyser; and also Teresa Duckworth of Keyser.
