She was predeceased by: her husband Coye Hurd; her parents, A. J. Ramsey and Ethel Bowden Ramsey; and her siblings, Grover, Elbert, Julian "Pat" and Maxine Beavers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Waugh and Chris Ramsey; her children, Gary Hurd (Sue), Helen Hurd and Brenda Bluestone; her granddaughter Cindy; and her great grandchildren, Brecken and Brenna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
