With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Kyer of Elizabeth, West Virginia, born in Gilmer, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Saulie Kyer and Myrrer Marks Kyer; and his siblings, Bertha Kyer, Iva Johnson, Ursula Richards, Louise White, Pearl Blake, Denver, Arthur, Stanley, Arnold, Virgil and Arden Kyer.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Kyer; his daughters, Tammy Scott (Dave) of Williamstown and Tara Engle (Robert Jarvis) of Spencer; his grandchildren, Damian Engle (Jessie), Darci Engle (Donnie Hawkins) and Landis Scott; his great grandchildren, Trace Hawkins and Emma Engle; and his siblings, Ruby Burkhimer of Akron, Grant Kyer of Palestine, Russell Kyer of Wooster, Julie Fields of Aplin Ridge and Alvin Kyer of Parkersburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.
