He is survived by: his mother Valerie Haddix; his significant other Jessica Machmer; his close friend Jessica Machmer; his daughter Gabrielle Lee Haddix; his aunts and uncles, Cynthia (John Spencer), Paula Waters, William (Sara Gum), John (Cryss Fox) and Lisa Plum; his cousins, Nancy Spencer, Jeff Spencer, Stephanie Kirk, Amy Taylor, William John Gadd, Adrienne Sherrill, Heather Gadd Samonte and Jill Fox; and also, Harley and Lamb. He is also survived by cousins and lifelong friends.
For 30 years Brett has been an avid supporter of Marshall University Athletics through various avenues including but not limited to the Big Green Foundation as well as being a season ticket holder.
