He is survived by: his wife Faye Blackshire; his sons, Arliss Blackshire Jr. (Tammy) of Aiken, SC and Stephen Blackshire (Lea Ann) of Buffalo; his siblings, Howard Odell "Bud" Blackshire Jr. (Sue) of Cross Lanes, Jean Pritt of Tuppers Creek, Delores Cobb of Dunbar and Jo Ellen Burdette (Danny) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Rhonda Platt (Tommy), Matthew Blackshire (Shayla), Stacie Bowen (Matt) and Kristi Holton (Billy). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
