He is survived by: his wife Mary Rosalie Winters; his son Richard "Rick" Winters; his stepsons, Matt Schoonmaker (Danyelle), Bridgeport and Mark Schoonmaker (Ann Rooney); his daughter Terri Lynn Winters (Kim Sisler); his stepdaughter Stephanie Dumire (Allan); his brother James "Bud" Winters (Almeda Lipscomb); his siblings-in-law, John Snyder (Connie), Gussie Wilson, Manassas, Virginia Linda Mierisch (George), Centerville, Joyce Donofrio, Fairmont, Marion Browning (Jim), Grafton, Karen Hamner (Steve), Bel Alton, Sharon Biasotti and Virginia Beach; his nephew Tim Winters; and his niece Ellen Cobb.
