He was predeceased by: his parents, Parker Adkins and Chloe Adkins; and his siblings, Elmer, Golden, Noah, Parker, Maryetta, Charity, Cora, Dorothy, Izella, Martha, Dewey, Leontie, Cleveland, Della and Delmer.
He is survived by: his wife Yantie Adkins; and his niece Freda Mae Stephens. He is also survived by 100 great nieces and nephews; and many neighbors and friends.
