She was predeceased by: her parents, George Spence and Laura Spence; her daughter Rhonda Napier; her granddaughter Keishi Paulson; her son-in-law Gary Porter; and her siblings, Glenn Spence, Wayne Spence, Noah Spence, James Spence, Timmy Spence, Gypsy Gillespie and Goldie Waugh.
She is survived by: her husband Claudie Steele; her daughters, Rosie Porter of East Lynn, Carolyn Sue Moore of Lavalette, W. V, Kay Alexander (Paul) of Lavalette, W. V and Jill Steele (Craig Lowe) of Wayne; her grandchildren, Jeff Porter (Sissy) of East Lynn, Jerry Porter of East Lynn, Joey Porter (Johnetta) of East Lynn, Gregory Moore (Diana) of Wayne, Craig Moore (Veronica) of Huntington, W. V, Chris Napier (Rhonda) of Cary, N. C., Daniel Napier (Meghan) of Huntington, Angela Blackburn (Bobby) of East Lynn and Carrie Alexander of Lavalette; her brother Kennis Spence of Ashville, Ohio; and her close friends, Samuel and Deborah Steele of Wayne. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
