He is survived by: his wife Beth Ellen Cooper; his children, Matthew Jason Cooper (Stephanie) and Jenifer Lee Cooper McKnight (Jeremy) of East Bank; his mother Barbara Jean Cooper of Dry Branch; his brother Charles Layton Cooper II (Carolyn) of Shrewsbury; his grandson Beau Layton McKnight of East Bank; and his nieces, Amanda (Bobby) of Goldtown, Evelyn of Goldtown and Cadence Cochran of Goldtown.
