She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Bender Cottrell and Harvey Beebe Cottrell; and her siblings, Mildred, Betty, Herbert and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Antonia Lee, Daniel Bruce, Toni O'Connor (Adrian) of Stephens City and Dan Korb (Tracy) of Garrisonville; her brother Charles Cottrell of Longview, Texas; her niece Teresa Blankenship of Amma; and her grandchildren, Danielle of Stafford County, Lynn of Stafford County and Alexander Korb of Stafford County. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maxine's memory to East Bank United Methodist Church.
