It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Wade Rogers Jr. of East Bank, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Wade and Mable Strickland Rogers Sr.; and his sons, Douglas, Stephen and Jeffrey Rogers.

He is survived by: his wife Vonna Kelly Rogers; his daughter Kelly Lavender (Bill) of East Bank; his grandchildren, Justin Lavender (Bridget) of Charleston, Nickolas Rogers (Aome) of Naples, Florida, Brandy Lavender of Scott Depot and Katie Kirk (Curtis) of East Bank; his great grandchildren, Hallie Kirk, Ayla Lavender and Laken Barninger; and his brother Carl Rogers (Ramona) of Charleston. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
