He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Evans and Ellen Spaulding Evans; and his siblings, Riley Evans, Bob Evans, Ronnie Evans, Sarah Gibson, Hilda Harris and Polly Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Evans of Ceredo, W. V; his children, James Douglas Evans (Sue) of Clyde and Anita Jo Queen Evans of South Point; and his siblings, James Evans (Sherry) of Orient and Emma of Buckeye Lake. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
