He was predeceased by: his close friends, Buck Maynard and Ruby Muncy. He is survived by: his son Gary Douglas Crabtree; his granddaughter Michelle Larraine Crabtree; his siblings, Barbara Helvey, Allison "Bug" Crabtree, Jacqueline "Tiny" Crabtree and Darrell Brawley; his wife Opal Crabtree; his children, David McCoy of Kermit, W. V, Joanie Dotson (Walter) of Paintsville, Johnny Crabtree (Michelle) of Genoa, W. V, Jessica Crabtree of Dunlow, Laura Crabtree of Dunlow, Ruby Phillips of Dunlow, Mary Ann Dillion, Mike Crabtree, Robert Crabtree (Sara) of Delbarton, W. V and Kendra Kirk (Jesse) of Williamson, W. V; his siblings, James Crabtree (Julie) and Phyllis Stell of Mt; his close friends, James Watts, June Watts and Mary Lou; and also Sterling. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
