He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Watts and Millie Watts; and his siblings, Mary Robertson, Hazel Dingess, Lucian Watts, George Watts, Albert Watts, Millard Watts, Alpha Watts and Russell Watts.

He is survived by: his wife June Watts; his children, James Edward Watts of South Charleston and Pamela Kay Browning (Steve) of Little Harts; his grandsons, Stevie Browning (April) of Chapmanville and Jake Browning (Maggie) of Little Harts; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Levi, Noah and Gavin Browning; his siblings-in-law, Thelma Marcum of Kermit, Elizabeth Watts of Fort Gay, Willis Mills (Thelma) of Huntington and Willard Mills (Faye) of Huntington; and his close friends, Donna Jervis of Dunlow W. Va, Mary Faye Maynard of Dunlow W. Va, Ike Maynard of Dunlow W. Va and Mary Lou Maynard of Dunlow W. Va. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Due to current pandemic, family requests social distancing be observed and all unvaccinated persons wear masks.
