She was predeceased by: her father Jack Goad; her former husband Arthur "Sonny" Lambert; her husband Neal Smith; and her siblings, Norval Goad, Dickie Goad, Wanda Veazey and Nancy Gardner.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Rosen (David) of Dunbar; her grandchildren, Bryan Rosen (Melissa) of South Charleston and Dawn "Sissi" Slack (Robert) of Oak Island, NC; her great grandchildren, Drew Orcutt, Allie Rosen of South Charleston, Alecia Slack Chartraw (Zack) of Huntersville, NC, Trevor Slack of Mooresville, NC and Savannah Slack of Oak Island, NC; her great great grandchildren, Roe Nattie and Kia Orcutt; her brother John Goad (Carol) of South Carolina; and her close friend Joe McClain of Dunbar.
