She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. King and Effie Fay Bailey; her husband William Franklin "Frank" Pleasants; and her siblings, Ruth Bonnet, Kay Sikes, Lenora Jean Harrison and Bill King.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Short of Florida; her granddaughter Amy Ryan of Pratt; her great grandchildren, Brelan and Jaylynn Lanham; and also Christopher D. Ryan of Dunbar. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
