With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Savolia A. Joyce of Dunbar, West Virginia, born in Matoaka, West Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2022 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ross Watlington and Minerva Hairston Watlington; her husband Harry Lee Joyce, Sr.; and her son Michael Emerson Joyce. She is survived by: her children, Harry Lee Joyce, Jr. (Sandra) of Olney, MD and Linda Joyce Cosby (Oliver) of South Charleston. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one great-great-granddaughter.
The city of Williamson gave her the key to the city for outstanding contributions to the city.
