It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. Raines Jr. of Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert R. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert R. farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Raines, Sr. and Caroline Schwing Raines; and his former wife Isabelle L. Linville Raines. He is survived by: his wife Judith L. Raines; and his children, Linda Frederick (Garry), Robert A. Raines and Caroline Vingle (Steve). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keller Funeral Home (1236 Myers Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Keller Funeral Home (1236 Myers Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064).
