It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paty Showalter of Dunbar, West Virginia, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Showalter and Nellie Showalter; and her siblings, Eldridge, Raymond and Naomi Shouldis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Wiles of St. Albans and Jane Daiber (Mike) of Bucyrus, OH; her siblings, Joe "Jay" (Fran) of Winfield and Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Smithson; her grandchildren, James "Andrew" Wiles (Lori) of Peytona, Rachael Atkins (Andrew), Kailah Hildebrand (Josh), Nathan Sterrett (Jessica), Faith Leibolt (Matthew) and Isaac Sterrett; and also Nancy Galvan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
