She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover O'Dell and Nellie O'Dell; and her son Denver Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Willis Higgins; her daughter Paula Day (Jonathan) of Red House; and her grandchildren, Corey, Chelsea Higgins and Whitney Day. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
