It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Elizabeth Jacobs of Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nina Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jacobs of Handley, WV and Hazel Cunningham of Charleston, WV.; her nephews, Timothy Rife of Charleston and Jesse Thomas of South Charleston; her brother-in-law Butch Rife of Charleston; and also Richard Cunningham of Charleston.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Pence of St. Albans and Shannon Pence of Dunbar; her siblings, Nancy Thomas (Jerry) of South Charleston, WV, Nena Burdette (Carlos) of Charleston and William Jacobs (Reba) of Kenna, WV; and her friend Jean Dougherty of Scott Depot, WV.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home (1118 Virginia St E, Charleston, WV 25301). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
