In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael Ray had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael Ray may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elben Hickman and Ruth Kerwood Hickman. He is survived by: his uncle Jerry Carney; his cousins, Lisa Carney and Lance Carney (Kathy); and also, Ryan and Jillian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Keller Funeral Home (1236 Myers Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
