With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois White Light Koontz Nypl of Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis White and Ona Elizabeth Gandee White; her former husbands, Jim Light, Jim Koontz and Miloslav Nypl; and her son-in-law Deo Lawrentz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frankie Susan White Shamblin, Georgia Marie White, Willa Mae White Bradley, Betty Rae White Boggs, Dianna Kay White Maxwell and James Edward White; her children, Douglas Light (Carol), Jimmie Koontz (Ardeth), Robin Light Estep (Jerry), Judith Koontz Harris (David) and Rosalind Koontz Lawrentz; her sister Mary Hill (Tom); her grandchildren, Mary Capozza (Vince), Colleen Miller (Mark), Sean Light, Patrick Light and Jackson Harris; and her great grandchildren, Jared Capozza, Ryan Miller and Landon Miller. She is also survived by one of eight siblings.
