He was predeceased by: his parents, Dollie Newhouse and Herman Newhouse; his siblings, Frances Haynes, Robert Newhouse and Gary Newhouse (Kay); and his brother-in-law Junior Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Janie" Mynes Newhouse; his children, Lori Jo Cobb (Patrick) and Larry Alan Newhouse; his grandchild Carter Cobb; and his sisters, Edna Smith, Sidney Alderman (Jerry), Helen, Ann Puzey and Jan Newhouse.
