He is survived by: his wife Nancy Scarberry; his children, Mark Scarberry, Kristin McLaughlin and Arabella Scarberry; his grandsons, Seth McLaughlin and Ian McLaughlin; and his siblings, Bill Scarberry and Brenda Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
