He is survived by: his son James; his wife Nancy; his daughter Penny M. Tippie (Midge) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Marc A. Harper of Dunbar, Allyson N. and Sophia M. Strother of Fayetteville; his great grandchild Evan James Elmer; his siblings, Edith Payne of Dunbar and Donald Sr. (Glenda) of Chelyan; and his nephew Donald Jr. "Donnie". He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
